Desk Mount

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

Desk Mount DM

The Desk Mount is most commonly used in conjunction with one of the DAESSY wheelchair Mounts and allows a device to be positioned on a desk or table at precisely the same orientation as it is on the wheelchair. The Desk Mount consists of a base and U-shaped tube that holds the attachment fitting for the device on its adapter.

Desk Mount, clamped

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

This variation on the Desk Mount uses a Manfrotto Super Clamp to clamp onto the edge of the table. Similar to the standard Desk Mount, the U-Tube can be adjusted for angle and position.

Folding Mount

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

Folding Mount DFM2

The DAESSY Folding Mount (DFM2) as the name implies can be folded away from the user. The two tubes of the Mount are connected by a flexible joint and except for this feature it is identical to the Rigid Mount. The flexible joint allows the horizontal tube, with the device attached or removed, to be lifted up to the side until the two tubes are parallel in a straight-up orientation and then rotated down until parallel to the vertical tube alongside the wheelchair. When folded and removed from the wheelchair the Folding Mount forms a more compact structure than the Rigid Mount.(not shown)

Folding Mount, rear

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

Rear Folding Mount DRFM6

The DAESSY Rear Folding Mount (DRFM6) also allows a device to be precisely positioned for use but with this Mount the device is folded away behind the backrest of the wheelchair when not needed. Unlike the other DAESSY Mounts the Rear Folding Mount is permanently attached part way down the side of the wheelchair and cannot be lifted out of its attachment clamp. Two flexible joints, one located at the attachment to the wheelchair the other between the two tubes permit a three step Rearward Folding action. In use the joint between the tubes forms a right angle with one tube horizontal across the wheelchair and the other tube leaning forward from the attachment point. The first step in the Folding motion swings the horizontal tube, with the device attached or removed, forward away from the user until the two tubes form a straight line. Both tubes then swing to the Rear at the flexible attachment point and finally the horizontal tube is swung in behind the backrest of the wheelchair.

Folding Mount, rear, lockable

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

Lockable Rear Folding Mount DLRFM8

The DAESSY Lockable Rear Folding Mount DLRFM8 functions in the same way as the Rear Folding Mount with the added feature of a Lock Mechanism to hold the Mount in place while in use. The Lock Mechanism allows this Mount assembly to be used on a wheelchair with a tilting seat system. Unlike other DAESSY Mounting assemblies the DAESSY Lockable Rear Folding Mount is directional and the attachment side of the wheelchair must be specified at time of order to receive the correct Lock Mechanism.

Folding Mount, removable

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

Folding Mount ROP Version DFM2ROP

The DAESSY Folding Mount ROP Version DFM2ROP is functionally identical to the standard DAESSY Folding Mount. The ROP Version allows for attachment to Tilting Seat Systems and installation beyond 15° from vertical. The Removable Outer Piece and Receiver that allows the Mount assembly to be ‘locked’ in place replace the standard Outer Piece and Index Clamp and allow the Mount to be quickly removed from the wheelchair. This Mount is non-directional and can be attached to either side of the wheelchair with the same components.

Locking Swing-Away Mount

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

The DAESSY Locking Swing-Away Mount (DLSA7)is a device Mount that can be moved out of the way and back into place by the user. Similar in appearance to the Rigid Mount but very different in structure the Locking Swing-Away Mount consists of a single length of tube bent to a right angle shape and supported in a clamp that allows the Mount to be swung away from the user in the manner of a gate. A Locking mechanism located at the clamp and operated by a cable running underneath the Mounted device controls the swing-away action. In some applications the Mount may be swung completely around and locked beside the wheelchair to allow the user to approach a table or desk. In common with the Rigid and Folding Mounts the device may be readily detached and the Locking Swing-Away Mount may be lifted completely out of the clamp on the wheelchair

Positioner Mount

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

DAESSY Positioner Mount DPM9
The two articulating joints and height adjustable collar of the DAESSY Positioner Mount allow easy adjustment of the height, angle and location of a mounted AAC device or laptop.
* 6 adjustment locations
* 16" of height adjustment standard
* Easily removed from the wheelchair at the Frame Clamp location
* Compatible with existing DAESSY Frame Clamp and Quick Release components

Rigid Mount

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

The DAESSY Rigid Mount (DRM1) provides a simple but highly adaptable and adjustable support structure for Mounting laptop computers or communication devices on wheelchairs. The Mount consists of two lengths of tube Rigidly connected to form a right angle structure. The Mounted device is attached to a horizontal tube crossing the wheelchair and supported by a vertical tube in a clamp that is permanently attached to the wheelchair. Both left or right-hand Mounting are possible and the Mount can be precisely positioned for accessibility by the user. The device may be quickly detached from the Mount, and to allow unimpeded access to the user the Mount may be lifted up completely out of the frame clamp or it may slightly lifted and swung to the side. All common wheelchair frame tube sizes, shapes and orientations can be accommodated. Variations can be made in the length and shape of the tubes, and in the other parts, to adapt the Rigid Mount to any wheelchair.

Rigid Mount, Removable

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

The Rigid Mount ROP Version is similar to the standard Rigid Mount, but is connected to the wheelchair with a Removable Frame Clamp Assembly. The Removable Outer Piece and Receiver (ROP & RFCR) that allow the Mount assembly to be locked in place replace the standard Outer Piece and Index Clamp (UFCOP & IC1). The ROP Version allows for attachment to Tilting Seat Systems and installation beyond 15° from vertical. Additionally the mount can be quickly removed from the wheelchair. This Mount is non-directional and can be attached to either side of the wheelchair with the same components.

Rolling Mount

Daedalus Technologies, Inc.
http://www.daessy.com/

The DAESSY Rolling Mount is an independent floor stand for any AAC decive or laptop. Fitted with the DAESSY Quick Release Base, the Rolling Mount is an excellent companion to the DAESSY wheelchair mounts, allowing easy transfer of an AAC device or laptop from the wheelchair to the ROlling Mount for use while in bed or in an alternate locastion.

The DAESSY Rolling Mount is fitted with 2" locking casters that provide smooth travel over most indoor floor surfaces. All four caster wheels can be locked to keep the mount in position during use.

Rolling Mount 24" base - RM-24

* Minimum device height above floor: 28"
